Save on time and money with reduced reworkĪutoCAD Civil 3D projects use a dynamic engineering model that connects design and production drawing. With one powerful solution, you can cut training and support expenses, streamline licensing and subscription renewals, reduce data translation requirements, and significantly increase the quality of your deliverables. Your company can use one powerful solution for all of its civil engineering design, drawing, and GIS needs with the benefits of Civil 3D software. All members of the team use the same consistent, up-to-date model, ensuring that they are in sync across all project phases, including survey, design, drafting, reporting, analysis, and visualization. ![]() It employs a dynamic engineering approach that has been proved in the industry to maintain intelligent object interactions.Ī change made in one place changes your entire project in real time, allowing you to accomplish transportation, site, sewer, storm drain, and subdivision projects more quickly and precisely. ![]() There seems to be quite a lot of addons to Bricscad these days and I don't have time to trial every addon to find one I'm happy with.Autodesk Civil 3D software is a strong, well-established civil engineering tool that may help you boost productivity, save time, and cut expenses. i can open the files up in bricscad how ever the surfaces come in as an "proxy" box with no surface contours shown. We have been using AutoCAD Civil3d for ages now and new way they are pricing things has really P^*sed me off and for this, we are still getting a very unreliable package which Autodesk programmers cant seem to get right!!!! We use autocad as our drafting package (12d as our designing tool) however we do use some civil3d features in our drawings figures mainly - using surfaces by the way of data shortcuts (so to keep the drawing figure file size small) and so that we can change contour intervals and label the surface easily on the fly and to be able to show 3d rendered surfaces in our figures. I was hoping not to have to recreate the surface just open all the existing files in bricscad and continue working as normal. ![]()
